Many people believe that they are not "good enough" to bowl in a league.  Nonsense!!!  Most of our leagues are handicap leagues.  Handicapping is a means of placing bowlers and teams with varying degrees of skill on as equitable basis as possible for their competition against each other.  There are also several handicapping percentages that your league can choose from at the beginning of the season. 

Scratch leagues and tournaments are scored without handicap and are generally for better bowlers.
